Eligibility:
Open to all music lovers aged 18 and above (OR with parental/guardian consent if under 18.)
Must live in the Metropolitan NY Tri-state area and able to attend 2 live rehearsals
Auction Item: A one-time opportunity to take the podium and conduct a piece for the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra season concert
(A piece is selected from a pool of masterworks chosen by the Music Director).
Included benefits:
3 coaching sessions (via Zoom) with the Music Director
2 live coaching sessions with the Music Director in front of the orchestra closer to dress rehearsal/concert (Must attend dress rehearsal)
5 complimentary tickets to the concert
Commemorative conductor’s baton as a keepsake to mark the experience
Timeframe:
Opens online on 10/13/25 and closes at 11/1/25 at concert intermission
Winner:
Bidders are encouraged to attend the November 1st concert as the bidding continues at the concert.
The highest valid bid received through the website before the 5 pm deadline will carry
forward at the November 1st concert. If the highest bidder is unable to make the
payment, is unresponsive, or otherwise unable to participate, the opportunity will be offered to the next highest bidder and their final bid amount.
This one-time conducting opportunity will take place at the March 21, 2026 concert
